Am 15.6.1914 Zulassung als Rechtsanwalt beim Landgericht Limburg, am 28.7.1914 auch beim Amtsgericht Limburg. Am 12.6.1933 aufgrund des Gesetzes zur Wiederherstellung des Berufsbeamtentums aus dem Notariat entlassen und am 9.12.1935 aus der Rechtsanwaltsliste gelöscht. Dr. Kanter war nach Palästina ausgewandert.
