Am 23. Juli 1933, während des Urlaubs der Familie Groß auf der Insel Usedom im Gasthof „Inselhof“ (vgl. AdJb F1 Nr. 682 und 684), fand am Strand von Trassenheide ein kleines Fest statt. Julius Groß, der wie üblich seine Kamera dabei hatte, hielt den Umzug zahlreicher Familien und Jugendlicher zum Strand, begleitet von einer Blaskapelle, fotografisch fest.
