Eugen Ernst, geb. 1931 in Anspach/Taunus, Historiker und Geograf. Von 1957 bis 1967 Lehrer beim Goethe-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. Von 1969 bis 1993 Professur für Geografie an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Ab 1968 an den Planung für den späteren 'Hessenpark' beteiligt; von 1974 bis 1994 dort Direktor.
