Gegen den Beschuldigten wurde wegen Tötungshandlungen an Häftlingen des KZ Auschwitz ermittelt. Er war bereits wegen Mordes und Beihilfe zum Mord durch Urteil des Schwurgerichtes Frankfurt am Main vom 20.8.1964 zu lebenslangem Zuchthaus und einer Gesamtfreiheitsstrafe von acht Jahren Zuchthaus verurteilt worden.
