Am 19. Mai 1966 um 04:57 Uhr wurde der Polizeistation Sprendlingen mitgeteilt, das sich auf dem Müllplatz der Stadt Dreieichenhain ein PKW mit zwei Personen befände. In dem Fahrzeug befand sich die getötete Maria Magdalena Nalbach, Frankfurt am Main, welche Strangulationsmerkmale und Stichwunden auswies, sowie der bewusstlose Beklagte, dem der Mord an jener Person zur Last gelegt wird.
